The finest wool
in ready-to-wear.
Super 220 refers to the fineness count of the wool fibre — one of the highest grades available outside bespoke tailoring. Our Odermark and Romaster suits carry the Yunsa Super 220 certification.
Water resistant — Repels light moisture without affecting breathability. Wear it to an outdoor wedding without concern.
Holds its press — Finer wool stays sharp through a full event day.
Breathable in Gauteng heat — Lighter weight than standard wool blends.
Lasts a decade — Properly maintained, Super 220 outlasts standard blends significantly.

Frequently asked questions about suits
What is the difference between a double-breasted and a slim-fit suit?
A double-breasted suit has overlapping front panels fastened with two columns of buttons. It creates a broad, structured chest and is the most commanding silhouette in menswear. A slim-fit suit has a single or two-button front with a narrower cut through the chest and waist. Double-breasted suits read as formal and bold. Slim-fit suits are more contemporary and versatile. Both are available at Glory Room in a wide range of colours and fabrics.
What is Super 220 wool and why does it matter?
Super 220 refers to the fineness count of the wool fibre. The higher the number, the finer and lighter the fabric. Most retail suits use Super 100 to 130 wool. Super 220 is one of the finest grades available in ready-to-wear. Our Odermark and Romaster suits carry the Yunsa Super 220 certification. Practically: the fabric is lighter, breathes better in the Gauteng heat, holds its press longer, and carries a water-resistant finish that repels light moisture. It lasts significantly longer than standard wool blends.
How much does a suit cost in South Africa?
At Glory Room Boutique in Pretoria, suits start at R9,500. Angelo Barone double-breasted suits are R9,500, with the Midnight Navy at R11,500. Romaster Yunsa Super 220 slim-fit colour suits are R9,500. Just Pascoli double-breasted suits are R11,500. Zegna and Odermark Super 220 suits range from R12,500 to R14,500. Event and gala suits start at R13,500, with the Mario Branco white tuxedo at R18,000. All prices include a free in-store styling consultation and full accessory matching.
Do you stock suits for larger sizes?
Yes. Our range covers EU sizes 46 to 66, which translates to SA and UK sizes 36 to 56. This covers most builds including larger chest and waist measurements that standard retailers often cannot accommodate above a 44 or 46. If you have had difficulty finding a suit that fits in chain stores, visit us. We almost certainly have your size in stock.
Can I buy suits for my entire wedding party at Glory Room?
Yes. Wedding party and group visits are one of our most common enquiries. WhatsApp us your headcount, the wedding date and a colour direction. We will pull appropriate options before you arrive and make sure there is enough floor time for the group. We have coordinated suits and accessories for full wedding parties including the groom, groomsmen and fathers of the wedding couple.
Do you offer suit alterations or fitting advice?
We do not have an in-house alteration service, but our team measures you in store and advises on the best starting size to minimise any work a tailor would need to do. If alterations are required we can point you to trusted Pretoria tailors. Most customers find that EU sizing fits well off the rack, particularly through the chest and shoulders — the most costly areas to alter.
How do I care for a wool suit?
Wool suits should not be dry cleaned after every wear as this shortens the life of the fabric. After wearing, hang the suit on a wide wooden hanger and allow it to breathe overnight before returning it to the wardrobe. A light steam is the best way to remove creases and refresh the shape. Spot-clean small marks with a damp cloth. Dry clean only when necessary — typically no more than once a season. Our Super 220 Odermark suits carry a water-resistant finish that reduces how often cleaning is required.
